Overview:
Amazon Prime is only one more day. You can always add to the teacher's wishlist items at ANY time!

Over in the Municipal Matters Facebook Group, Sarah Carlson had a genius idea. So genius in fact, that it should be shared!
While today is the last day of Amazon Prime, Sarah decided to give BISD teachers an opportunity to share their Amazon Wishlist with everyone. The goal here is to help get teachers the supplies and resources that they need to best teach their students.
Sounds like a great goal, right? 👍👍👍
So far, several teachers have added their list. However, we think that the teacher’s Amazon Wish list should grow! So we want to grow TWO things:
- Let’s grow the number of teachers sharing their Amazon Wishlist …and also…
- The number of eyeballs who would be willing to happily contribute to their list
So, before we go over the list so far, remember something: SHARE THIS with your friends so that we can get these teachers their supplies!👈 Then tag another educator so that we can update this article with their list as well! 👈👍
Burleson’s very own Bethany Harlow uhm Mrs. Brown, at the world’s best Mound Elementary, has her Amazon Wishlist list here:

Thank you for thinking of teachers!! Starting year 4 at Burleson Collegiate. I will also have my masters in school counseling in August, so some of my items will help me begin to build up items for future work with students!

Sandi Lengyel tells the group:
I will again be teaching first grade this school year. I’ve never created an Amazon Wish List before, but I have done so this year. If you’d like to help, I would be so grateful. I would also be ever grateful for your prayers for my students as these little kinders become first graders. I appreciate prayers for me as well as I try to create a welcoming, supportive classroom environment in which each student is able to learn all he/she can in the year ahead.

A special thanks to the admin of Municipal Matters Facebook group for taking the lead on this great idea! https://www.facebook.com/groups/municipalmattersofbtx/posts/1499867280455429/
Again, the point of the article is to share these lists with the community and have everyone chip in to help these teachers get the supplies that they use to teach the kiddos.
And, if you have a list that you would like to add so that we can share it with others, share it below in the comments section, and/or go over to the Facebook post and share it there!
